Incom Business Systems are delighted to have won the "Contact Centre Solution" Award at the Prestigious Comms National Awards held at The Park Lane Hotel in London.

Now in their 11th year, the Comms National Awards were the first to recognise excellence in the UK convergence channel, and remain the most coveted industry awards. Independently and expertly judged, the Comms National Awards are prized by winners and finalists as industry recognition that their products and solutions are among the very best the channel has to offer.

Incom fought off stiff competition to receive the Award from Comedian and "Outnumbered" Star Hugh Dennis. MD David Hughes says "I am delighted to accept this Award on behalf of the amazing team that we have at Incom, to be recognised by our industry peers is a true honour". Hughes continues "over the last decade we have developed an excellent reputation for supplying and tightly integrating Call and Contact Centres with our Customers internal systems, this sets us apart from our competition and has been instrumental in winning this Award".

Charity gets a Hearty £1500. - Wednesday, 12/10/11

The British Heart Foundation has benefitted by over £1500 thanks to the generosity of customers, suppliers, friends and family who sponsored our MD David Hughes to complete the MBNA Chester Marathon on Sunday the 9th October 2011.

Around 3,000 runners and over 10,000 spectators took to the streets of Chester and North Wales for the second annual MBNA Chester Marathon. The event has been hailed a fantastic success story for the region.

David completed the 26.2 miles in 4 hours 56 Minutes with an injured calf (muscle not baby Cow!). David said "in 2003 I did the Great North Run and vowed never to run a Marathon due to the pain of doing a half marathon", 8 years on and David explains, "it is 20 years this year since my Father died of a Heart Attack and I wanted to achieve something positive out of a negative anniversary".

The British Heart Foundation are the nation's heart charity and their vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease. "The generosity, kindness and support I received from everyone, both astonished and inspired me to complete the race in under 5 Hours" David concludes.

“I would like to take the opportunity to personally thank you for the professional manner in which your Engineer carried out his duties. In my opinion, he is a real credit to himself and your company.” This is an excerpt from an email received today from the Engineering Manager at the Royal Air Forces’ Typhoon Training Facility in Coningsby.

RAF Coningsby, having started life as a wartime bomber airfield, has now evolved into the RAF’s foremost fighter base, responsible for the evolution of the Services air defence tactics and doctrine. As part of Number 1 Group, RAF Coningsby is one of the three air defence fighter bases in the United Kingdom.

Having waited 6 years to implement a new telephony system and originally having placed an order for an NCP 1000 via Worth Comms, the customer was a little apprehensive as to what impact the recent “buyout” would have on the implementation. Needless to say that not only did the implementation happen without a hitch, the customer felt compelled to write to the company thanking them and the Engineer for the high standards of workmanship.

As you can see, our new website has successfully been launched today. Moving on from our recent achievements, we have redesigned our website with a fresh new look and dynamic content. Website visitors can browse our company information, find the latest news or utilise our technical tools any time.

Our new Incom Customer Support Online (ICSO) portal allows current customers to log in and have full access to online support for their equipment and contact our live support personnel with the touch of a button.

Runner-Up Success at the FCS. - Monday, 27/06/11

Incom Business Systems are delighted to be awarded Runner Up in the "Reseller of the Year" Category at the Federation of Communication Services Awards held last week at The IET Savoy Place in London. The Federation of Communication Services- FCS - is the UK Trade Association for the communications services industry representing businesses delivering products and services to customers by radio, mobile, fixed and IP telephony. David Hughes MD at Incom said "this is the first time that we have entered the FCS Awards and to have become Runner Up is a great achievement".

Incom on Target to Hit £5m - Thursday, 21/04/11

Incom Business Systems is set to breakthrough the £5m barrier after winning a number of new contracts.

The firm, which employs 36 people, had a turnover of £3.7m in 2010 and is on course to hit the £5.7m mark this year after securing significant contract wins with C E Electric, Harley Medical Group and The Clare James Group in addition to acquiring a Yorkshire-based rival.

Incom strives to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for business communications. It provides businesses with everything from fixed line and mobile telephone systems to integrated voice and data solutions. Its blue chip customers include Britannia Hotels, British Transport Police and many Volkswagen, Audi and Toyota car dealerships.

Incom was acquired by joint managing directors David Hughes and Jason Kilvert in 2004 in a management buyout. David had joined the company as a junior salesman in 1989, while Jason was first employed by Incom as a stores man in 1993. Both worked their way up the ranks and are now spearheading the company, which is on the acquisition trail in a move to boost its ambitious growth plans.

Last year, the business moved into new premises on Clarendon Road, Manchester and also bought Yorkshire-based Worth Comms and is now poised to make further acquisitions in a highly fragmented market.

David says: “Worth has been fully integrated and we are now looking at further acquisitions in a market that is ripe for consolidation."

“Our strategy is to grow through acquisition and organically by securing further blue chip customers. We are passionate about doing business ethically, which has been at the heart of our longevity in an ultra-competitive market.”

Incom is being advised on its acquisition and growth strategy by law firm Pannone. Kay Kennedy, head of entrepreneurial services at Pannone, said: “Incom has a very exciting future in a buoyant sector that presents a number of acquisition opportunities."

“We are helping the team fulfil its growth strategy which is immensely rewarding given the ambition and determination of the dynamic team.”
